What's the Advantage of a Compare Images Card?

Example: You would like to compare different details of different species at the same time. Enter the Compare Images card, select a species and drag the desired details into the Viewports. Subsequently select another species and repeat this procedure. The result is shown in figure 1, displaying two details of two different species.

Description

The Compare Images card is a versatile feature, allowing the user to arrange details and species in any desired combination. The species names can be selected in the combo box and the details are dragged from the Selection Panel into the Viewports.

Moreover, the card can be used to compare images of the eutaxa data base with any picture stored on the PC, or to arrange and to compare images of the user's own picture gallery, as shown in figure 2.
