Query Cards

Query cards contain checklists of morphological or habitat characteristics, grouped according to specific body parts or habitat. Every card contains a series of panels, arranged in rows in alphabetical order, each indicating a specific morphological characteristic or habitat description. Every panel includes a list of characteristics, which may be selected in case of concordance. Selected characteristics are highlighted in dark-blue (as shown in figure 1). For a single query, characteristics of any number and combination on different Query cards may be selected.

After the desired characteristics have been marked, the calculation (query) can be started by clicking on the appropriate button in the tool bar. The results will be displayed automatically on the Hits card.
